CEB Wananchi Systems is proud of the headway we have made regarding transformation, and although significant progress has been made in this area, we are aware of the fact that the task of transformation is not by any means complete. Our BEE strategy is strongly aligned with government’s legislation, requirements, targets and imperatives, and includes commitment to all the transformation indicators.
As previously stated, the CEB Wananchi partnership was born in 2001. Wananchi Investment Corporation holds 51% and CEB Systems Engineering 49%. The shareholders are Mr. Nico van der Linde, Mr. Bruce Klette, Mr. Hennie Botha, Mr. Kennedy Memani and Mr. Khehla Mthembu.
Mr. Memani assumed the role of Executive Chairman in 2005.
